Regarding AI

Regarding the Use Of AI in Waⁿdat Reclamation:

"Artifical Intelligence" as it exists now is a colonial construct. The programmers/designers do not share (let alone understand) our culture, our language, or our protocols. The Large Language Model, for example, relies on mostly  euro-western languages and the accompanying mindset. The results are efforts to force our language into the wrong mold.

Using such colonial tools disrespects and dishonors our ancestors and does not acknowledge our sovereignty over our language.

Until such time as indigenous programmers using indigenous worldviews design appropriate tools, we will not be using or supporting or acknowledging the tool known as "artificial intelligence."  It has no place in our reclamation efforts.

We OWN our language, Waⁿdat. We decide how she is reclaimed.  We respect and honor those who came before us.
